I fell in love with all aspects of costume design when I was in third grade when my class took a field trip to the Chicago Civic Opera House. A backstage tour of a few dressing rooms and a wardrobe storage area offered me my first opportunity to see costumes up close, and I immediately knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. With the support of my family I began taking art classes locally. Then starting in middle school and continuing into high school I took advanced classes through the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Throughout high school I was involved in the theatre as the first and only costumer to work on the stage crew.

In 2017 I graduated from the University of Michigan's School of Music, Theatre & Dance, and received a BFA in Theatre Design and Production with a concentration in Costume Design.

For me costume design and illustration is a passion that has never waned and one that I actively pursue every day. I look forward to putting this passion into your show as well!
